The certificate should be in English language and bear the name and passport number of the traveller.

ACCOMMODATION:

  • The hotels specified are based on local classifications, which vary from country to country. Hotels mentioned will be used. If changes become necessary for any reason, a substitute hotel will be of a similar standard.
  • Our standard practice is that a double bedroom will be allocated to couples. While every effort is made to reserve twin bedded rooms, a hotel may provide double-bedded instead of v.v. Triple share rooms are generally based on an extra rollaway bed, which is not always suitable for adults.
  • Please note that the standard policy is that hotel rooms are available for check-in after 1500hrs and check-out before 1200hrs. Therefore, a request for early check-in / check-out needs to be advised in advance (subject to availability).

SIGHTSEEING:

You have a choice of sightseeing on seat-in-coach service (SIC).  SIC service is scheduled tours operated on a fixed time, from selected city centre hotels, an English-speaking guide conducts the tours. Post-Covid pandemic, there is a change in operating days of scheduled tours, which will be informed at the time of booking. Or you can upgrade to a Private Chauffer driven service wherein the tours can be designed based on your convenience.

There will not be any deviation of any services allowed.

FERRY SERVICES:

  • You will get your physical ferry tickets from Satguru Travel in Athens for all island trips. However, it’s best to arrive at the port 30 minutes early.
  • Ferries are not a luxury service; they are purely to get you to your destination. Unlike planes, you don’t have the option to check your bag and pick it up at your final destination. Instead, you’ll be hauling your luggage through terminals and onto the ships. The stairwells are often narrow and crowded, and the ports can be chaotic, with passengers buying tickets and frantically trying to find the correct terminal. Avoid added stress and pack light! Bring just what you need, and make sure that your bag is not too heavy or awkward to carry.
  • Some ferries have assigned seating, and while many people just sit anywhere, it’s beneficial for you to sit in your assigned seat. If you find someone already in your seat, kindly let them know it is given to you. If you grab another seat, the person assigned to that seat will likely ask you to move, and so on. Sitting in the right seat from the beginning ensures that you will not get caught up in an annoying routine of continuously swapping seats. Ferries can be long. You will want to sit down.
