Day 01: Chandigarh to Shimla

Arrive at Chandigarh railway station/airport and transfer to Shimla 4 hours’ drive.

Day 02: Sightseeing in Shimla

After Breakfast Excursion to Kufri. Kufri is famous for its Himalayan National Park, Poney and Yak Ride and one can see the endless Himalayan Panorama from Kufri, after lunch sightseeing of various places in and around. Shimla mosques built in (1830), Vice regal Lodge built in (1885), Christ Church built in (1844), The Gaiety Theatre- the first beauty contest of world was supposed to start (1887), The Grindlays Bank (1912)- the world wide bank started by Robert Melville Grindlay, The Scandal Point and The famous Shopping Plaza of the North The Mall.

Day 03: Shimla to Manali.

After breakfast check out from the hotel a distance of 265 km 8 hrs. On the way visit Sunder Nagar, Pandoh Dam, Hanogi Mata Temple, Kullu Valley.

Day 04: Sightseeing at Manali

Day 05: Excursion at Manali

Excursion to Solang Valley and back to Hotel O/N Hotel.

Excursion to Rohatang Pass till snow point (Excursion to Rohtang Pass (Guest Own on direct payment & Subject to Permit). Situated at an altitude of 3979 mtrs above sea level and 51 kms outside Manali is the mighty Rohtang Pass – the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley. It affords a wide panoramic view of the mountains. Here one sees the majesty of the mountains at its height and splendour. At the top of the pass the air seems to glitter against the snow as you look down over herringboned ridges into the Lahaul valley. Evening at Leisure. O/N Hotel (Closed on Tuesday)

Note: Rohtang Pass Closed from Nov to May Month due to snow.

Day 06: Manali to Dharamshala

A distance of 260 kilometer on the way stopping at Baijnath known for its Shiva Temple and further at Palampur famous For Tea Garden. Dharamshala is a hill-station lying on the spur of the Dhauladhar Mountains about 18 kms north-east of Kangra, It is known for its scenic beauty set amidst high pine and oak trees. Since 1960, when it became the temporary headquarters of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Dharamshala has risen to international repute as “The Little Lhasa in India”.

Day 07: Dharamshala to Dalhousie

After Breakfast drive from Dharamshala towards Dalhousie after doing the local sightseeing of Places which includes, His holiness Dalai Lama residence at Mc Leodgunj, War memorial, Bhagsunath temple and Dal Lake. Reach Dalhousie in the evening.

Day 08: Dalhousie

Dalhousie has been named after the British Governor – General of the l9th century, Lord Dalhousie. Surrounded by varied vegetation – pines, dodders, oaks and flowering rhododendron. Local sightseeing of Dalhousie includes visit to Panjipula, Subhash Baoli and excursion to Khajjiar 24 km from Dalhousie surrounded by thick Deodar forest. Drive from Dalhousie to Khajjiar is awesome.

Day 09: Dalhousie to Chandigarh

Breakfast at your hotel in Chandigarh.

Check out from the hotel and transfer to Chandigarh a drive of around 6 hours and drop at railway station/airport.

• 50% payment at the time of confirmation
• Balance 50% within 07 days of confirmation or travel date whichever is earlier.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

We need to receive a cancellation request in writing for us to proceed with cancellation. The following charges will be applicable based on the cancellation request received by us.

If you cancel:

• Prior to 45 days or more – 25% of tour cost
• Between 44 and 31 days of departure – 40% of tour cost
• Between 30 and 15 days of departure – 50% of tour cost
• Between 14 days and 7 prior to date of departure – 75%
• Between 6 days and In case of no show – 100%

• 50% advance to be deposited at the time of booking confirmation.
• Balance 50% before 15 days from the Tour Starts.
• Check In / Check out time at all the properties would at 1200 hrs. (Noon)
• All the above mentioned rates are per person rates on twin sharing
• For Cancellation please refer to our Terms and Conditions available at our booking office.
• Rooms holding shall be for a period of 72 hours only.
• The above rates are applicable strictly for resident Indian citizens only
• Any amendment and cancellation in the booking before 15 days RS.500 per Person are chargeable as communication charges.
• Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
• Indian Service tax of 5% will be applicable on the total bill Amount if you make the payment in INR.
• Rates will change if traveling dates are changed due to Major Trade Fairs & Exhibition. Supplementary Charges may apply.
• We shall proceed with the reconfirmation after receiving complete package cost.

HOTELS:

1. Kindly note that names of hotels mentioned in the proposed hotels only indicate that our rates have been based on usage of these hotels and it is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey such confirmation to you. We reserve the right to change the same due to availability issue with the hotel, or unavoidable circumstances. In that case we may provide alternative, similar accommodation and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable) to you.
2. Our offer is based on usage of base category rooms at the mentioned hotels (unless specified otherwise) and if this category of rooms is not available we shall try to confirm accommodation in next available higher category of rooms and shall advise supplementary cost involved while conveying the status.

MEALS:

The menus are pre – set menus provided for breakfast/lunch/dinner on the tour as mentioned under each Tour itinerary and inclusions and exclusions as committed at the time of confirmation. In standard/Budget category of hotels the meals preferences are veg meals, unless specified and in Deluxe/Super Deluxe and Luxury category of hotels/resort the meals are mixture of veg and non-veg preferences.

Mostly buffet meals are served during the tour, but depending upon the less occupancy and group size Ala Carte meals may be served by the hotels. No claim can be made for the meal which guest has missed and not utilized.

ITINERARY CHANGES:

For the comfort and convenience of guests, there could be some changes or amendments in the itinerary. We will try to advise you of these amendments, prior to the start of the tour or on tour. In the event if guest misses on any part of the sightseeing tour or any such tour due to delay on his part, he will not be entitled to claim refund of the same.

The timings mentioned in Day schedule in the itinerary may vary depending upon the road conditions, particular destination visits, En route meals, climatic conditions, particular health conditions of the guests and timings of sightseeing places and monuments.

CONDITION OF TRAVEL

Please note the readymade packages are made on the basis of destinations to be visited, sightseeing’s/excursions and activities to be done during the tour, keeping in view the time, cost and other factors while designing the package. The guest have to strictly follow the Tour itinerary. Any additional sightseeing’s and excursions apart from the suggested itinerary will be on supplement cost. Any additional transfers/ pickups/drops apart from the proposed itinerary shall be subject to additional charges payable apart from the package quote.

In case where a guest along with his family is unable to join or continue the tour due to any reason whatsoever including illness, death or loss of any travel documents, flight/train delays or cancellation no claim shall be entertained for refund of unutilized services, his booking shall be treated as ‘no show’ on the tour and 100% cancellation charges will be levied.

TRANSPORT

We normally use A/C Sedan such as Etios/Desire, Innova/Crysta/Tempo Travellers/2X2 A/C Coaches for our tours depending upon the group size and preferences of the travel. The drivers of the vehicles are bound by specific rules like maximum driving hours within a day, rest period per day etc. Clients will have to strictly adhere to the prescribed timetable for the day so that the driver can complete the travel. In case, any of the sightseeing schedules is missed due to delays caused by the client, the same will not be refunded to the client under any circumstances. Please note that AC will not work in Hills and no claims to this regard shall be entertained.

IDENTITY PROOFS:

It is mandatory to carry the Photo identity Proof during travel and have to be presented at the time of Check Inn in all hotels for security reason.

ROHATANG PASS EXCURSION:

(CLOSED ON TUESDAY) OPENS FROM JUNE 15 TO OCTOBER 15

Excursion to Rohatang is not included in the itinerary because NGT has restricted the number of vehicle to this place and, it entirely depends upon the permission on a particular day. The client can take the local State Transport Bus (INR 1000 to 1500 per person return) and visit Rohtang. The guest has to get the tickets from the Bus Depot at Mall Road. The local cabs charge somewhere between INR 5000 to INR 13000 depending on the demand

MOUNUMENTS AND ENTRY CHARGES:

All monuments are closed on Monday and Taj Mahal is closed on Friday. Rohatang Pass is closed on Tuesday for maintenance. Kindly check your itinerary at you end as well.
