Day 01: Cape Town – Optional Half day City Tour
Welcome to Cape Town. After clearing customs, meet our representative in the waiting area and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, go for an optional half day city tour on a private / SIC basis. This tour gives you the opportunity to discover the spirit of the Mother City, experience her vibrant cultures and history and enjoy botanical scenery. The tour leaves at 8 am in the morning and 2 pm in the afternoon. It is for 4 hours.
Highlights of the tour include: Table Mountain – weather permitting, scenic coastal drive through Clifton & Sea Point, Green Market Square, District Six, and Walk through the Company Gardens, Scenic City tour passing the Houses of Parliament, the City Hall, the Castle and Slave lodge. Visit to Table Mountain (weather permitting)

Day 02: Full day Cape Peninsula / Cape Point Tour
After breakfast today at 9 am, depart for a full day Cape Peninsula / Cape Point tour. Embark on Africa’s premier tour route to the romantic meeting place of the Indian & Atlantic Oceans. Sir Francis Drake the explorer called it “the fairest Cape that we saw in the circumference of the Globe” This tour offers a full and exciting day out. The tour departs at 9 am and you come back generally by 5 pm.

Includes: Hout Bay, 30-minute cruise to the seal colony in a glass bottom boat (weather permitting), Cape Point nature reserve, Cape Point, Cape of Good Hope, stop for lunch at Fish Hoek Galley (included, visit penguin colony in Simonstown and Kirstenbosch botanical gardens.
In the evening return to your hotel. Overnight at hotel in Cape Town.
Day 03: Knysna, Sunset lagoon Cruise
After an early breakfast today, depart to Knysna on the Garden Route. It is a seven hours scenic drive. Lunch is en-route on own. Reach Knysna and relax at your hotel after check in.
In the evening at 16:00 hrs. (winter) or 17:15 hrs. (summer), enjoy a beautiful Sunset cruise on the marvellous Knysna Lagoon. A visit to Knysna would be incomplete without a trip to the heads – a striking geological feature made up of a pair of huge, brightly coloured cliffs lying at the mouth of the lagoon, flanking a channel of potentially treacherous water that flows into Knysna’ s lagoon. You can cruise on the 3 leg river cat boat for this or on the John Ben.

Day 04: Kynsna – Oudtshoorn, Full day excursion at Oudtshoorn
After breakfast today, depart to Oudtshoorn which is just 91 miles away from Knysna. It’s a scenic drive. You have a full day of activities today at Oudtshoorn. Oudtshoorn is an important point on the Garden Route.
Today you will indulge in the following activities:-
Ostrich Farm – During your visit experience the world’s largest bird which lays the largest egg, has the most beautiful feathers and eyes that make you want to fall in love and hug them. You can enjoy riding the birds at your own risk, stand on their eggs, touch the birds and cuddle the chicks. Professional multilingual guides take you on a conducted tour where you will learn about the birds, experience laughter & beauty situated in a valley surrounded by thousands of ostriches and majestic mountains. Enjoy lunch at this ostrich farm
Cango Caves – The Klein Karoo’s oldest and most popular attraction … one of the world’s natural wonders.
Cango Wildlife Ranch – here you will have the opportunity to view some of the animal species which inhabited the Karoo region in the early days.
Late in the evening, return back to your hotel in Knysna. Overnight at your hotel in Knysna.
Day 05: Travel to Port Elizabeth via Plettenburg bay
After an early breakfast at 9 am, depart to Port Elizabeth which is a 3 hour drive, further on the garden route. Visit Plettenberg bay on the way and do not forget to visit the Monkey land Primate Sanctuary. The entrance to Monkey land is included in your package cost.
Plettenberg Bay is the jewel of The Garden Route and is tranquil and charming, hospitable and rather special. Originally christened “Bahia Formosa” (beautiful bay) by early Portuguese explorers, Plettenberg Bay offers the visitor miles of sweeping, un spoilt golden beaches, a dramatic rocky peninsula, intriguing lagoons and estuaries, towering indigenous forests and unpolluted rivers and sea.
Opened in 1998, Monkey land primate sanctuary is currently the top eco-tourism attraction on the Garden Route. The sanctuary is exceptional as it caters for several species of primates who are not caged. They are free to move about the forest and this they do most harmoniously.
Later in the evening go for a city orientation tour in Port Elizabeth.
Highlights of the tour include: Shark Rock Pier, Fort Frederick, Donkin Reserve, Pyramid Monument, Horse Memorial, St. George’s Cricket Ground, Feather Market, Library and City Hall.

Day 06: Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg to Mabula
After breakfast, depart from Port Elizabeth hotel and transfer to the airport at Port Elizabeth. Flight from Port Elizabeth to Johannesburg and from there it’s just a 02 hours’ drive to Mabula. Arrive at the lodge for a hot lunch.
This 12000ha of malaria free reserve is home to an abundance of wildlife and birdlife, including the world famous Big Five. Home to some 60 mammals, 300 bird species, 100 plant types and numerous reptile and insect species, at Mabula Game Reserve, all natures’ wonders are revered – from the ‘Big Five’ (lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino) to the ‘small five’ (ant lion, leopard tortoise, buffalo weaver, elephant shrew and rhino beetle). This is the Heartland of the South African Safari experience.
Take an evening game drive at Mabula. Dinner and overnight at your hotel/ Lodge in Mabula.
Day 07: Mabula

Day 08: Travel to Johannesburg. Relax or Shop!
After breakfast, travel back by road to Johannesburg. The day is free for you to finish your shopping or to explore Johannesburg. Alternatively, you can go on a gold mine tour (optional)
A visit to the Kromdraai Gold Mine at the centre of the “Cradle of Humankind” will give you an unparalleled view of old mining methods. You’ll enter the old workings through a large opening in the side of the hill and a short walk down the coco pan tracks through roughly worked tunnels and into the heart of the mountain where you will marvel at the conditions that people had to endure while extracting the gold ore.

Johannesburg is mostly known as the “New York of Africa” and has many places to pick up the perfect gift or souvenir, or just to browse around at what is on offer. From modern shopping centre complexes to local markets, it is certainly a varied shopping experience. Johannesburg can be considered as the shopping paradise in South Africa.
Travellers are able to shop in the more than 20 mega-malls around Johannesburg. Sandton City Shopping Centre, Nelson Mandela Square, Hype Park Corner, Oriental Plaza, Montecasino and Rosebank Mall are the places of the best shopping. There plenty of shopping malls and shopping centres that are mostly located in the northern suburbs. Most of them are exclusive and include all top international brands as well as with the popular local ones.

Day 09: Flight from Johannesburg to back home
After breakfast, bid farewell to Johannesburg and transfer to Johannesburg airport to catch your flight home.
