Day 1: Arrival at Kigali
Upon arrival at the Kigali International airport, you will undergo a COVID test
Transfer you to check-in at your hotel in Kigali

Day 2: Kigali City Tour
After breakfast proceed on a Kigali City tour. This includes a visit to the Parliament museum, local markets, Gisozi genocide memorial among other sites.
The Kigali Parliament museum depicts in details how the Campaign against Genocide Plan was executed by RPF/A following the withdrawal of UN troops leaving the targeted Tutsi under the mercy of the Genocidaires and how only the RPF/A forces who were in the war of liberation took the unilateral decision to stop Genocide, Rescue victims of Genocide and defeat the Genocidal forces. This museum also has its outer part comprised of monuments including that of the 12.7mm Machine Gun that helped in containing the advancing genocidal forces.
Interact with the locals at the Local markets like Kimironko Market with vendors who sell produce from Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Burundi and the democratic republic of Congo. It is well stocked up in fresh organic fruits, vegetables, fabrics, clothing, shoes and general household necessities. Experience Rwanda at its liveliest.

Day 3: Gishwati National Park
You will be transferred by road today to Gishwati National Park.
Gishwati Forest Reserve is a protected reserve in the north-western part of Rwanda, not far from Lake Kivu. The reserve’s forests were largely intact in 1978, and substantial forest cover still remained in 1986.
Its biodiversity includes eastern chimpanzees, mountain and golden monkeys, genet, civet, small mammals, amphibians, reptiles, more than 120 species of birds and more than 250 plants species.
The drive is pleasant and last anywhere between 4 – 5 hours. Arrive in time for dinner.

Day 4: Adventure with a Park
Early breakfast

The Forest sits on the ridge which divides the Congo and Nile water catchment areas, along the Albertine Rift in the west of the country. It is made up of 60 species of trees, including indigenous hardwoods, bamboo, home to a group of Chimpanzees, Golden monkeys, L’Hoest’s, Blue monkeys, birds are well represented with 232 species and two water falls

Day 5: Tea Plantation Tour
9:30am: It’s time to enjoy one of the available community-based activities, among which include bee keeping experience, live cultural dance, handicraft experience or a tea plantation tour.
In the late afternoon, transfer to Gisenyi.

Day 6: Lake Kivu Tour
Wake-up to the morning breeze of Lake Kivu to enjoy the many water sports like boat cruise, Kayaking at an extra cost payable direct (range from 17$PP to 43$PP)
Afternoon tour that vicinity by visiting the two boarders of Rwanda-Congo, local markets to interact with the locals.

Day 7: Kigali
11:00am check-out to return to Kigali to have more of the city tour as you also do some souvenir shopping.

Day 8: Departure
