Day 1: Arrival at Kigali
Upon arrival at the Kigali International airport, you will undergo a COVID test.
Transfer you to check-in at your hotel in Kigali.

Day 2: Kigali-Akagera
After breakfast proceed on a Kigali City tour. This includes a visit to the Parliament museum, local markets, Gisozi genocide memorial among other sites.
Lunch at an extra cost, from the many choices of cuisines to pick ranging from local dishes to international.
Transfer 3 hours drive to Akagera National Park.

Day 3: Akagera
Whole day game drive at Akagera National Park.

Day 4: Akagera- Musanze
Transfer to the Volcano National Park.
Situated in the far northwest of Rwanda, Volcanoes National Park protects the steep slopes of this magnificent mountain range – home of the endangered mountain gorilla and a rich mosaic of montane ecosystems, which embrace evergreen and bamboo forest, open grassland, swamp and heath.

Day 5: Musanze
8:00am; visit the Twin Lakes to have a cultural experience of how the Rwandan ancient Kings/Queens lived on an Island. Boat cruise, storytelling, hot lunch, local food festival and cultural performance.
Overnight: Five Volcano Boutique-5*/Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge-4*/La Palme Hotel-3*(FB)
Day 6: Musanze – Gishwati
Early breakfast and drive to the Volcano National Park office.
7:00am: briefing about gorilla trekking.
Drive to the starting trail where you will come back to find your driver who will take you back to the hotel have Lunch.
In the late afternoon, transfer approx… 2 hours drive to Gishwati National Park
Overnight: Forest of Hope Guest House (FB)
Day 7: Gishwati
Early breakfast.
7:00 am: briefing done at the Guesthouse.
Depart on your adventure with a park guide.
The Forest sits on the ridge which divides the Congo and Nile water catchment areas, along the Albertine Rift in the west of the country. It is made up of 60 species of trees, including indigenous hardwoods, bamboo, home to a group of Chimpanzees, Golden monkeys, L’Hoest’s, Blue monkeys, birds are well represented with 232 species and two water falls.
Lunch at the Guesthouse.

Day 8: Gishwati- Gisenyi
9:30am: It’s time to enjoy one of the available community-based activities, among which include bee keeping experience, live cultural dance, handicraft experience or a tea plantation tour.
In the late afternoon, transfer to Gisenyi.

Day 9: Gisenyi
Wake-up to the morning breeze of Lake Kivu to enjoy the many water sports like boat cruise, Kayaking at an extra cost payable direct (range from 17$PP to 43$PP).
Afternoon tour that vicinity by visiting the two boarders of Rwanda-Congo, local markets to interact with the locals.

Day 10: Gisenyi- Kigali
11:00am check-out to return to Kigali to have more of the city tour as you also do some souvenir shopping.
Have guided walks at the Imbuga city Park and take some photos.

Day 11: Depart
Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
