Day 01: Nairobi City Tour
09.00am picked from your city hotel and depart for a city tour visiting the National Museum.
Pay a visit to the National Museum with collections & exhibitions on East African heritage & history.
11.00am visit David Sheldrick to see the baby orphaned elephants.
The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust operates an orphan elephant rescue and wildlife rehabilitation program in Kenya. It was founded in 1977 by Dame Daphne Sheldrick to honor her late husband, David Sheldrick. Since 2001, it has been run by their daughter, Angela Sheldrick.
Interact with these elephants for a price – the fee goes towards food, bills and salaries and so on so that the facility can continue to operate
Stop for 1 hour lunch, (payable direct).
02.00pm visit giraffe center.
The Giraffe Centre is located in Lang’ata, approximately 20 kilometres from the centre of Nairobi, Kenya. It was established in order to protect the vulnerable giraffe that is found only in the grasslands of East Africa.
The main attraction for both school children and visitors is feeding giraffes from a raised observation platform. The Giraffe Center is also home to several warthogs which freely roam the area along with the giraffes.
After the visit to the Giraffe center, get dropped back to your city hotel.
